Overview
The Physics of Art is dedicated to the appreciation of art and style. This website is a place for me to document people, places and things I find inspiring and provide a snapshot into the elements that shape their work as artists while also providing insight into what shapes mine as a photographer.

A semi editorial narrative celebrating a mix of creative individuals who inspire through their work mixed in with a good dose of superficial things I find aesthetically pleasing.

Born Justice

I was on my way to brunch in Manhattan Sunday morning when I walked past a man asking for money. I initially brushed it off and kept walking. But I was compelled for some reason to walk back. Maybe it was his appearance: Avirex bubble jacket, Big "B" chain, crooked teeth, etc. He reminded me of a mid-late 90's era rapper I would have listened to back in the day. I walked back, gave him a buck and asked him if I could take his photo. "Yeah you can take my photo...you know any producers?". I chuckled, "yeah...I know a couple". What followed, completely unsolicited, was really long verse, at least 40 bars. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It was appreciated though, if nothing else, for the fact that he gave me my moneys worth. His name was Born Justice.
